This research investigates the use of flash cards media in reading descrptive text. The research was conducted based on main problems: 1) How is the student's reading ability in descriptive texts of eight gareds at SMPN 15 Kota Serang? 2) How is the application of flash cards in the process of teaching reading of the eight grades at SMPN 15 Kota Serang? 3) How is the effectiveness of using flash cards in teaching reading of the eight grades at SMPN 15 Kota Serang? This study is designed to find out the effectiveness of Flash Cards media in teaching reading descriptive text.</note>
