This research investigated the applying of teaching reading comprehension, the writer focused in the tittle of this research: The effect of story face strategy on students reading comprehension of narrative text (an experimental research at tenth grade students of MA AL-Khairiyah Pontang Regency of Serang). Based on the observation in the classroom, the writer found that many problems, there are first, students still difficult to read text, uncofident to read and understand text. Because, they are unknown vocabularies, unfamiliar structure and they still confuse pronunciation of the world. Second, in the process of teaching learning, students as object and teacher as subject, which is also only teacher used old technique that made the students feel bored when the english learning process. Story face strategy is one kind of graphic organizer that adapted from story map, it can make the students will enjoy so that the atmosphere in the class will be more interesting in english learning process and help students understand of narrative text.</note>
