English course as nonformaly education has a significant role in developing english skill. Considered english as international language, most of Indonesian people looked at this as necessity. Able to communicate with other people using foreign language is a special pride, so the requirement to reach it is understanding that language. Translation is a part of them. The research used descriptive method have mainly aimed to know the influence from taking english course on student's achievement specially on translation. The technique of data collecting used are questionnare, test, interview, observation, and study review. The population is the students of third grade from SMP 1 Serang. The writer takes sample 12% as much as 40 students. After collecting data, later analyzed. Qualitative data analyzed using rational approach and quantitative data analyzed using statistic correlation to determine coefficient correlation using the product moment formula.
