This research investigates in writing descriptive text, especially it is written in the tittle of this research paper that is "The Analysis of Students'Difficulties in Using Simple Present Tense in writing Descriptive. The research is conducted based on main problems 1) what difficulties do the students face in using simple present tense i writing descriptive text? 2) what are the causes of the students difficulties in using simple present tense in writing descriptive text? 3) to what extent are the proportion and percentage of students difficulties in using simple present tense in writing descriptive? based on the research question above, the writer has several objectives of the research as following.
