The collected data shows that the most common process in the students' English textbook "Life Today" is derivation. The study reveals that the derivation process is the most common process of word formation due to its productivity and flexibility in adding different affixes. However, the researcher finds that the students' English textbooks "Life Today" contain a wide range of word formation processes.
