The Use of Community Language Learning (CLL) for Teaching Speaking to Digital Native Students (Quasi Eksperimental Research at The Seventh Grade Junior High School of MTsN 2 Kota Cilegon)


Today's education cannot be equated with the past either in terms of pursuit or any other, in this modern world there are many learning methods and edits that can be used to help education become more interesting. For this reason, the researcher took steps to examine the influence of the community language learning method in teaching speaking for seventh grade students in MTSN 2 Kota Cilegon. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the community language learning method for teaching speaking to digital native students, this study uses a quasi-experimental method, sample involved in this study amounted to 46 students of seventh grade in MTSN 2 Kota Cilegon which was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. After carrying out a series of activities, the researcher analyzed the data using a t-test. Based on the data obtained, the researcher obtained an average pre-test score in the experimental class of 38.6 and an average post-test score in the experimental class of 56.20. Meanwhile, the average score of the pre-test of the control class was 41.25 and the average score of the post-test of the control class was 49.91. Based on the results of the data of 2.83> 2.01 in degree ofsignificant 5%, and the observation value of 2.83 > t-table 2.68 in degree ofsignificant 1%. Based on the above results, ho is rejected and there is an influence from the uses of the CLL method in teaching speaking to digital native students (Ha or alternative hypothesis) is accepted.
