The Effect of Concept Sentence Learning Model on the Ability to Write Procedure Text


The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of using Concept Sentence learning model on the Ability to Write Procedure Text. This research uses a quasi-experimental group pre-test and post-test design and quantitative research method. The instruments used in this research are observation and test (pre-test and post-test). This study involved 60 students as samples, namely XI Religion and XI Science classes. Furthermore, the researcher conducted a t-test to determine the research hypothesis. To find out the t table: df = n1 + n2 – 2 or df = 30 + 30 - 2 = 58 with a significant level (ɑ = 0.05), it can be found that the t table is 1.67. The findings of this study show that to (7.03) > tt (1.67). This means that according to the testing criteria, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in learning to write by using Concept Sentence learning model on the ability to write procedure text at MA Attaqwa Tangerang.
