Enhancing Students Vocabulary Mastery Through Minions “The Rise Of Gru” Movie (A Quasy Experimental Study At The Second Grade Of MA Al-Fathaniyah Cipocok Jaya)


The research investigated the effect of Minions “The Rise Of Gru” Movie as media in teaching vocabulary. This research was to find out whether teaching vocabulary by Minions “The Rise Of Gru” Movie could enhance students’ vocabulary mastery. A Quasi-Experimental was used by researcher as a methodology of this research. For taking a data, the researcher was used an test (multiple choice) as instrument in both pre-test and post-test. The population of this research were the eleventh grade of MA Al- Fathaniyah Cipocok Jaya. This research took 44 students’ as a sample and divided it into two classes there were IX A as a experimental group and IX B as a control group. The research finding showed that t-test (t0) was higher than t-table (tt) with significant degree of 5% (2,115 > 1,680). In addition, the result of this research showed that Ha was accepted because t-test was higher than t-table. It can be concluded that using Minions “The Rise Of Gru” Movie can enhance students vocabulary mastery.
