THE INFLUENCE OF ONLINE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT ON STUDENTS’ ENGAGEMENT IN LEARNING SPEAKING AT SMK NEGERI 2 KABUPATEN TANGERANG


This study aims to determine the influence of online classroom management on students engagement in learning speaking at SMK Negeri 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. The method use in this study is a quantitative method. The sample in this study was all calss 12 TKJ (Computer and Networking Engineering) 4 as many as 43 students and the data collecting technique was in the form of a questionnaire. Primary data collection from questionnaires and secondary data obtained from schools. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 software. The results of this study indicate that the online classroom management variables has a positive influence on students’ engagement in learning speaking at SMK Negeri 2 Kabupaten Tangerang, this is obtained from the results of the t-test of online classroom management variables with a tcount value of 5,784 > ttable 2,019 with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then based on the results of calculation that have been carrie out, the Fcount value of 34,508 > Ftable 3,23 with a significance level of 5% or 0,05, which means that the hypothesis in this study rejected Ho and accepted Ha. The value of the simple linear regression equation is Y = 6,791 + 0,774X.
