Developing Spinning Wheel Media in Learning English Vocabulary (Research and Development at the Eighth Grade Students of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Sidayu, Kab. Serang-Banten)


This research aims to develop learning media in the form of a spinning wheel in learning English vocabulary at the Eighth grades students of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Sidayu and find out how the level of feasibility spinning wheel media in learning English vocabulary at the Eighth grades students of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Sidayu. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) methods. The development procedure in this research was adopted the theory from Borg and Gall procedure were conducting needs analysis, product development, product validation, product revision, try out, and final product. This research was conducted at the Eighth grades students‟ of MTs Ashabul Maimanah Sidayu Kab. Serang-Banten in academic year 2021-2022. The analysis data of this research were descriptive qualitative and percentage descriptive quantitative. The data were obtained from the results of the material and media experts, the educational practitioner‟s expert, and the students questionnaire sheet. The results of the research and development the spinning wheel media for learning English vocabulary get the average percentages from material expert is 90%. The average percentages from media expert is 85.83%. The average percentages from educational practitioner‟s expert is 94.25%. Based on the small scale trial get an average percentages 80.2%, and the large scale trial get an average percentages 90.5%. It means that the product of this research is very good and feasible to be used for learning English vocabulary.
