The implementation of SQ3R Method to improve reading comprehension (A classroom action research at the tenth grade of Vocational High School Budi Utama Panimbang-Pandeglang in Academic Year 2019-2020)

This research improving the implementation of SQ3R method to improve reading comprehension. The background of the study in this research is based on the problem as follow: 1) some students are lack of vocabulary, 2) reading motivation is low, 3) Reading comprehension is low. The problems of this research can be stated as follows: 1) How is the implementation students’ reading comprehension before using SQ3R method, 2) How is the implementation students’ reading comprehension after using the sq3r method?. The study was conducted at SMK Budi Utama Panimbang in the academic year of 2019-2020. The implementation of SQ3R method to improve reading comprehension at SMK Budi Utama Panimbang is a Classroom Action Research which is aimed improving students reading comprehension. Those research was conducted in one cycle. The subjects were twenty two students. The instruments which are used to collect the data are observation and test. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that using SQ3R method can improve students reading comprehension
