The influence of using Flip Chart on students’ writing Descriptive Text” (An experimental research at the second grade of Mts Nurul Islam kota Serang)

The research investigates how students learn writing skill especially by Flip Chart media. Spesifically it is writen on title: “The Influence of Using Flip Chart on Students’ Writing Descriptive Text”. The research is conducted base on statement of the problem 1). How is the students’ writing skill at the second grade of MTs Nurul Islam kota Serang before treatment? 2).How is the influence of flip chart on students’ writing skill in MTs Nurul Islam kota Serang after treatment? The aims of study are: 1. To know the students’ writing skill at the second grade of MTs Nurul Islam kota Serang before using flip chart. 2. To know the influence poster on students’ writing descriptive text in MTs Nurul Islam kota Serang after using flip chart. To answer the questions, the researcher collected data from 42 students spreading in two class, one class as experimental class and another on is control class by using quasi experimental method. The sample is students at the second grade of MTs Nurul Islam kota Serang, and the researcher takes sample from B class as experimental class and A as control class. The data was gathered through pre-test and post-test. The result of the research shows that the value of tobservation is 7.55 which is bigger than ttable 1.68 the degree of freedom (df) is 40. In this paper, the writer used the degree of significance of 5% are 1.68. So tobservation = 7.55>ttable1.68 it mean that Ha (the alternative hypothesis) of the research is accepted, and Ho (the null hypothesis) is rejected. Base on calculating the data of t-test that the influence of using flip chart on students’ writing descriptive text has positive effect
