The use of Repeated Reading Comprehending on English text” ( A case study at eight grade of MTs Wasilatul Falah Rangkasbitung Lebak)
Comprehension is main goal in reading and can be it enhanced through a variety of instructional strategies. Repeated reading is one of reading method in English to practice students achievement so that they can read fluently an also they can understand the text well. The researcher uses this method by reading the text together in the class loudly. Qualitative research method was applied in this research. Researcher took 19 respondents at Eight Grade of MTs Wasilatul Falah. This research was to find out how the repeated reading can affect student in comprehending text. The respondents must comprehend sentences and then link ideas from one sentence to the next. Respondents also have to understand the reading task they face and interpret the meaning of text. For collecting data researcher uses test for the instrument. The result of the research is many students could complete the task. There are 16 of 19 respondents get good score. They can read the text well. They did accuracy both word recognition and reading speed. However, three respondents had difficulties to apply repeated reading.
