A Study On English Teaching Strategies At EFL Classsroom ( a Case Study at 11th Students of SMAN 06 Kota Serang)
FENI KHOIRUNNISA. 132301480, 2018, “A Study On English Teaching Strategies At EFL Classsroom ( a Case Study at 11th Students of SMAN 06 Kota Serang)” The purposes of this research are to investigate the strategies used by the English teachers in teaching English at The Eleventh Grade Students of SMAN 06 Kota Serang to investigate the reasons why the English teachers choose those strategies in teaching English at SMAN 06 Kota Serng, and to investigate the students’ responses of teaching strategies applied in teaching English. Research method, the reseacher used case study design with qualitative approach. The reseacher conducted the three tehniques, they are observation, interview and questionnaire. The subject of this research were English teacher SMAN 06 Kota Serang. . It is used to describe something that is known to have happened in the process of teaching activity. In conducting the research, the reseacher collected data through observation by preparing observation sheet and observing the field. The reseacher also interviewed the English teacher and some students to get more information. The result of the study revealed that Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Grammar Translation Method (GTM) where major approaches found in the foreign language classroom studied.
